INECThe Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has debunked reports claiming it has suspended the proposed delineation of Wards in Warri North, Warri South, and Warri South West Federal Constituency, Delta State, as ordered by the Supreme Court.

In a statement by the Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee (IVEC), Sam Olumekun, Mni, said the report misquoted an INEC official.

He clarified that while no final decision has been reached, the delineation exercise has not been suspended. Olumekun added that the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) is still active across all local government areas in the constituency.

INEC appealed for calm, urging all stakeholders in the area to maintain peace as the process continues.
