Earlier, the Speaker, Prince Adewale Egbedun had noted that the Startup Law provides young innovators and entrepreneurs with structure, funding opportunities, legal protection, and a direct role in shaping the digital economy, making Osun one of the few states with such a progressive framework.
Prince Egbedun stated that the Electricity Market Regulatory Law will enable the state to develop a stable, transparent, and competitive electricity market capable of supporting industries, businesses, and communities while the Estate Agency Regulatory Authority Law will sanitise the real estate sector by ensuring safer, more transparent property transactions.
The Speaker added that with the passage of these bills, the current Assembly has delivered 42 laws aimed at improving governance, strengthening institutions, and driving sustainable development in Osun.
