Senator Tinubu, represented by Osun State First Lady, Chief Mrs. Titilola Adeleke, advised the beneficiaries to invest the funds responsibly to strengthen their businesses.
She noted that the distribution of funds is significant as it aligned with the global celebration dedicated to promoting inclusion and support for persons with disabilities.
She said that while the RHI is a national programme, the Osun edition aims specifically to boost economic activities of persons with disabilities across the state.
Chief Mrs. Adeleke explained that out of the 250 empowerment slots allocated to Osun State, ₦200,000 each was disbursed to 150 persons with disabilities, while the remaining 100 beneficiaries, selected under the All Progressive Congress, APC group, received grants of #200,000 each to support tie-and-dye businesses.

Congratulating the beneficiaries on the occasion, she urged them to see the grant as a seed capital capable of expanding and sustaining their enterprises.
“Let this support be a seed that grows into something greater, a business that sustains you and your family.”
Chief Mrs. Adeleke also highlighted the RHI’s Social Investment Programmes, which have provided relief to disaster victims, widows, the elderly, families of fallen heroes, and internally displaced persons
