OSUN MEGA DRAW: Weekly Raffle Set to Make Millionaires, Boost State Revenue

In a bold step aimed at reducing poverty and increasing internally generated revenue (IGR), a new lottery initiative branded Osun Mega Draw is set to kick off with a weekly live raffle show that will produce one millionaire every Saturday night.

The Chief Executive Officer of 2AG Integrated and Tailored Solutions Ltd, Barrister Ladi Adebayo, made this known while briefing journalists at the company’s headquarters in Ilesa, Osun State. He revealed that the live draw would be held every Saturday at 7:00 p.m. from the studio and streamed to a wide audience across Nigeria.

According to him, the flagship raffle tagged Imole Millionaires is fully supported by the Osun State Government and is designed to empower residents and tackle poverty. Tickets will be sold for ₦500 each and will be available through over 2,000 agents across Osun State and various designated ticketing points nationwide. Sales for each week’s draw will open at 9:00 p.m. every Saturday and close the following Saturday at 6:00 p.m., one hour before the draw.

“The Imole Millionaires draw is not politically inclined,” Barrister Adebayo stated firmly. “We are doing this to uplift the people of Osun State economically. It is a game of luck, a chance for individuals to win big while contributing to the economic development of the state.”

Barrister Adebayo added that several other games under the Osun Mega Draw brand, including Emilokan, Mega Luck, and Cash Out, would be rolled out to provide more chances for participants to win exciting cash prizes. In a move to make the lottery easily accessible, Barrister Adebayo announced that the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has granted approval for a USSD code, enabling participants to buy tickets directly from their mobile phones. Additionally, the Osun Mega Draw mobile app will be available for download, allowing seamless ticket purchases and game participation across digital platforms.

“This is an inclusive system,” he emphasized. “Whether you are in Osogbo, Ilesa, Ibadan, or anywhere in Nigeria, you can participate through our agents, online app, or by using the USSD code. Everyone stands a chance to become a millionaire.”

The Osun Mega Draw is expected to attract thousands of participants weekly, with ticket revenue set to bolster state funds.
