BREAKING: Governor AbdulRazaq Hails President Tinubu As 38 Eruku Abductees Regain Freedom

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has announced the release of 38 people abducted in the attack on Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Eruku, in Ekiti Local Government Area of the state.
The Governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye described the development as a direct outcome of President Bola Tinubu’s decisive and hands-on intervention, noting that the President personally led efforts to secure the victims’ freedom.

According to the Governor, the abductees were released on Sunday, 23 November.
He expressed deep gratitude to President Tinubu for what he called the President’s “direct initiative” and unwavering commitment to the safety of citizens.
Governor AbdulRazaq revealed that President Tinubu cancelled his planned trip to the G20 meeting in South Africa to focus on security breaches in Kwara and Kebbi States.
The President also ordered increased security deployments across Kwara, underscoring his dedication to protecting Nigerians.
The Governor further commended the Office of the National Security Adviser, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigerian Army, the Nigeria Intelligence Agency, and the Nigeria Police Force, which recently deployed four new tactical teams to the state on the President’s directive.
He also appreciated security personnel, community leaders, religious bodies, and the people of Kwara for their support and solidarity throughout the incident.
