According to a statement released by the palace on Thursday, the week-long celebrations will commence on May 16, 2025, and culminate with the official coronation on Friday, May 23, 2025.
Chief Shola Oshunkeye, Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub-Committee of the Coronation Committee, announced that the ceremonies would not only mark the ascension of the former Osun State deputy governor to the revered royal seat but would also serve as a unique opportunity to showcase the rich culture and tradition of Ijesaland to the world.
