According to Governor Biodun Oyebanji, the Federal Government has designated Ekiti as an agricultural pilot state in the Southwest. At Lady Jibowu Hall, Government House, Ado-Ekiti, he announced this at the January edition of the monthly Evening of Praise and Worship event.

The governor declared Ekiti a model of integrity, accountability, and good governance and credited God’s favor for the state’s accomplishments and changes. He acknowledged that actions and changes that had improved the state’s and its citizens’ situation were guided by divine inspiration.

Oyebanji emphasized notable advancements that have raised the standard of living for locals in sectors like infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and economic empowerment. He said that his administration’s achievements over the past two years were largely due to the heavenly assistance it received.
