According to Babafemi Ojudu, a former presidential special adviser on political matters, President Bola Tinubu is not the most qualified individual to lead Nigeria at this moment.

Having previously worked closely with Tinubu, Ojudu stated that he believes his worldview does not make him the most suitable candidate to be the current president of Nigeria.

He made this revelation on Monday night during an appearance on Edmund Obilo’s “State Affairs” program.

Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was also referred to as “a visionary” by the former presidential assistant.

Ojudu asserts that Osinbajo would have elevated Nigeria to new heights.

“If he had the chance, this country would have gone places with him, but that did not happen,” he stated.

“I am not Emi Lokan, but after working with and getting along well with the school’s principal, as well as having worked at the National Assembly and the presidency, I just believe that Emi Lokan’s concept was inappropriate at this particular moment.

Having seen him up close, Osinbajo was the most qualified individual to lead Nigeria at the moment.

“Osinbajo is a visionary, and I can assure you that whomever is going to lead this nation effectively cannot be an individual; rather, he must be a member of a team of individuals who share his vision.

“Everyone must support your principles, beliefs, and goals; you cannot just be president and have a worthless Inspector General of Police, a worthless head of Customs or Immigration, or a Chief Justice of Nigeria.”
