False Property Ownership Claim Sparks Legal Action
The police revealed that detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department’s (SCID) Legal Section were alerted after receiving a petition against the suspect. The complaint alleged that Alo had falsely presented herself as the owner of a five-bedroom duplex located at WTC Estate, Enugu.
During a testimony at the Zion Prayer Ministry Movement Outreach in Lagos, she reportedly declared that God had blessed her with the acquisition of the property. A viral video from the event showed her standing before the congregation, giving thanks for the supposed blessing, while images of the house were projected inside the church.
In a separate viral clip, she allegedly claimed that she had purchased the house for N200 million, further fueling suspicions about her credibility.
Five-Count Charge Against the Suspect
Following investigations, Alo was arraigned on a five-count charge, which included:
- Obtaining by false pretence with intent to defraud
- Defamation of character

SP Ndukwe emphasized that her actions amounted to criminal deception and legal consequences were necessary to maintain public trust.
