“Our Ease” is the new policy framework that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has unveiled for his government. According to him, the strategy prioritized topics like education, sustainable agriculture, technology development, urban and rural growth, security, and effective healthcare. He declared that his administration would prioritize the welfare and best interests of the people and operate an accountable system.
At the First Working Day prayer gathering in Akure in 2025, the governor gave a speech to dedicate the upcoming year to God’s care. He praised God for enabling the state to overcome the difficulties of 2024 and exhorted public servants and political office holders to stick to the goal of a thriving Ondo State.
He said that his administration placed a high priority on excellent governance, which resulted in significant growth across the board for the state’s economy.
“This blueprint will direct our efforts to accelerate the development of Ondo State,” stated Aiyedatiwa. We are steadfast in our resolve to make 2025 a year of economic expansion and recovery.
“We have hired workers for vital industries and made sure that salaries and pensions are paid on time, including the introduction of the new N73,000 minimum wage.”Infrastructure projects, particularly those involving rural and urban roadways, are still being worked on. In the court, we have chosen judges to increase access to justice, and in education, we have offered scholarships and bursaries to indigenous students. Thanks to the assistance of our security architecture, which includes the “Amotekun” Corps, Ondo State continues to be one of the safest and most tranquil states in Nigeria, making it a desirable place for investment.
Head of Service Bayo Philips hailed public service for being fortunate to have a governor dedicated to the welfare of civil servants.
