Suspected bandits have attacked Gidan Sani village in the Tsaragi Emirate area of Kwara State, killing two residents, including a woman, in a fresh wave of violence that has left the community in fear.

According to local sources, the attackers reportedly stormed the village and opened fire on residents, causing panic as people fled for safety. Two victims were confirmed dead during the incident, while others sustained injuries and property was disrupted.
Residents said the attack has heightened concerns over the growing insecurity in parts of the state, with calls for increased security presence to prevent further assaults on vulnerable communities. The incident also forced many families to temporarily abandon their homes.
