Lateef Adedimeji has disclosed that he was told he would fail in Nollywood by a man who trained him as an actor.

In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the movie actor talked candidly about his formative years in the business.

“I give you one year to see what you will become,” Adedimeji claimed the individual had given him an ultimatum. I was once told in the Yorùbá industry, “I want to see what you will become in a year.” And I told him, “Give me a year, and I will show you what I have become,” he added.

“Join a caucus if I wanted to be successful in the Yoruba industry,” Adedimeji disclosed last year. “I heard that in order to succeed in the Yoruba industry back then, you had to be a member of a caucus, therefore I had to join.” I thus became a member of Afeez Eniola, Bayo Tijani, and Muyiwa Ademola.

He had remarked, “Every pupil under them is united.” “I began my first day on location by carrying cameras. I would follow the cameraman by carrying lenses. To choose camera lenses, I would be despatched on errands. I stated after that set that I was not sure I wanted to undertake this one. I fled because I do not want to do this.
