American rapper and YouTuber Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., better known by his stage name DDG, says he may think about moving to London or Lagos.
On Saturday, the rapper wrote on X that he was unsure if he would stay in the United States, calling his native country less desirable.
He wrote, “America is not really the same anymore. I might have to migrate to Lagos or London.”
The statement was made as wildfires continue to plague Los Angeles.
Since they started last week, the destructive wildfires have damaged or destroyed over 12,000 structures and killed at least 16 people.
According to AFP, Anish Mahajan of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health stated, “The small particles irritate the nose and throat, causing sore throats and headaches.”
Los Angeles health officials have warned locals to stay indoors because of the dangerous smoke from wildfires that is engulfing the area.
All of us are exposed to smoke from wildfires, which is a mixture of gasses, water vapors, and tiny particles.
