The actress shared the experience in an emotional Instagram post while addressing women who are currently trying to conceive. According to Bimpe, she initially wondered what she had done wrong when invitations to children-related celebrations stopped coming, only to later discover that some people she knew had intentionally left her out because she did not have children.

Bimpe said the experience was deeply hurtful because she loves children and wanted to share in the joy of people around her. She urged people not to compound the emotional burden of women struggling to conceive by excluding them from celebrations. “A woman without a child is not less deserving of love, friendship, inclusion, or celebration,” she wrote, urging people to invite and support women going through such difficult seasons because they may never know what someone is silently carrying.
