Osun State has been garnering widespread recognition due to its outstanding achievements since the induction of the current administration, a sentiment echoed not only by residents but also by those from outside the state and even critics from opposition parties, who acknowledge the administration’s commendable performance.

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State voiced these sentiments while welcoming the management team from the Leadership Newspaper at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Osogbo, the state’s capital city.

Governor Adeleke emphasized that by the overwhelming positive feedback and high approval ratings, his administration is motivated to push its team further to enhance infrastructural development throughout the state.

The Governor noted that the acclaimed accolades from various federal and non-governmental bodies underscore the administration’s steadfast commitment to ensuring good governance.

He use the opportunity to announce upcoming projects including the commencement of the dualization of phase one of the Odoori-Post Office road in Iwo, while, the dualization project in Ilesa continues to progress, and the flyover bridge at Ile-Ife is advancing with considerable progress.

Earlier, in his address, the Vice President of Leadership Newspaper, Mr. Mike Okpere, declared that Governor Ademola Adeleke is set to receive the Governor of the Year award in Nigeria from the Leadership Newspaper which symbolizes recognition of his substantial efforts in the development and advancement of the state.

He highlighted various facets of infrastructural development across the state, such as ongoing road dualization and flyover construction, as well as road construction, and the provision of tools to facilitate agricultural activities for farmers.

Furthermore, he mentioned that over 20,000 beneficiaries have gained from the Imole Medical Outreach and the rehabilitation of medical centers, among other achievements.

He announced that Governor Ademola Adeleke would be among the distinguished dignitaries to be honored on April 8 for their exceptional performances in their respective roles.
