The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has congratulated Nigerians on the country’s 65th Independence Anniversary, urging citizens to remain optimistic about a brighter future.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Leke Baiyewu, Abbas reflected on Nigeria’s journey through a chequered history, noting that the years ahead hold the promise of greater unity and prosperity.
He acknowledged that Nigeria is blessed with vast human and material resources but emphasized the need for collective effort in building the nation.
