Southeast Youth Coalition Plans Mega Rally in Abia to Endorse President Tinubu’s Administration

The Coalition of Southeast Youth Leaders (COSEYL) has announced plans to hold a massive rally in Abia State to endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, praising the president’s achievements and policies, particularly in the Southeast geopolitical zone. According to the group, the rally is part of a broader effort to mobilize support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement released on Tuesday, COSEYL leaders Comrade Goodluck Ibem (President General) and Comrade Okey Nwaoru (Secretary General) confirmed that preparations have been finalized for the rally. The event, which is expected to draw a crowd of over five million Southeast youths, will also serve to promote the political influence and leadership of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the lawmaker representing Abia North Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate.

“We are committed to ensuring a well-organized event that will serve as a platform to highlight the outstanding leadership of President Bola Tinubu and Senator Orji Kalu,” Comrade Ibem stated. “The rally is expected to build momentum for the 2027 campaigns and reinforce the president’s vision for the nation’s continued progress.”

He further noted that the rally would showcase how inclusive governance, strong leadership, and national unity have contributed to progress in the Southeast, particularly in the areas of infrastructure development, healthcare delivery, and educational reforms.

The Coalition also emphasized the crucial role played by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in advancing the president’s developmental agenda in the region.
