An aspirant for the House of Representatives seat in Ekiti South Federal Constituency I, Prince Abiodun Adetimehin (Omo’luabi) has urged members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) across the country not to be discouraged by the ongoing leadership crisis within the party.

He gave the charge during a consultation visits to leaders and members of the ADC in Ikere,Ise/Orun and Ekiti South West Local Governments making the Federal Constituency.

Prince Adetimehin (OMO’LUABI) described the development as a temporary setback allegedly orchestrated by “enemies of the party,” expressing confidence that the ADC would overcome the challenge.

“I want to encourage all our party members, leaders and supporters across Nigeria, especially in Ekiti State and the Southwest, not to be discouraged by this INEC portal issue and the court imbroglio,” he said. “The enemies of the ADC think they have succeeded in weakening us, but I assure you they will soon be put to shame. This is not the end of the road; it is only a phase that will strengthen our resolve.”

Prince Adetimehin who is a foundation member of the ADC in Ekiti State reaffirmed the party’s determination to position itself as a credible alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

“The ADC is on course to become a viable alternative to the ruling APC. We have the ideas, the people and the vision to rescue Nigeria from the current governance challenges,” he stated. “We will not allow any force to truncate the democratic process. The ADC will legally resist any attempt to turn Nigeria into a one-party state. Multi-partism is the beauty of democracy worldwide, and we shall defend it with every legitimate means available.”

He also called for unity among party members, noting that internal disputes would be resolved through due process as the party intensifies mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“Our party is built on the foundation of justice, equity and service to the people. No court order or administrative action can kill the spirit of ADC members who are determined to offer Nigerians a better choice,” he added.
