Ogun Police Launch Manhunt for Fugitive Community Leader After Man Dies in Motorcycle Dispute

The Ogun State Police Command has launched a full-scale manhunt for a community head popularly known as “Youngest Baale” after a man, Isiaka Kazeem, tragically collapsed and died under controversial circumstances linked to the seizure of his motorcycle.

The incident, which has thrown the Imode area of Ewekoro Local Government Area into a state of shock, is now the subject of an active police investigation.

According to reports gathered by a local correspondent, the troubling event unfolded in the early hours of July 24, 2025. Kazeem, a resident of Omoboriowo Street in the nearby Ejio Town, had reportedly been involved in a protracted disagreement with the Baale, who allegedly confiscated his motorcycle, a TVS model, on July 20. Since then, the deceased had made several attempts to retrieve the motorcycle, but his appeals were unsuccessful.

Eyewitnesses stated that Kazeem had visited the community leader’s home multiple times, including on the day of his death. However, after failing once again to secure the return of his motorcycle, he collapsed while walking back to his residence and died on the spot.
