Statement on the alleged victimisation of some local government workers from the Osun APC is another in the series of fake news which the opposition is known for.

Governor Adeleke is not victimising any civil servant because he has immediately announced that for th August 15 election, there was no winner , no vanquished.

The governor has went further to announce that he has forgiven those who offended him and those who persecuted him.

He also raised the olive branch to all political opponents to join hands with him to build a greater mutually prosperous Osun state.

The governor moved ahead to put his words into action by setting up an electoral violence compensation fund as well as two other panels to find lasting solutions to political violence in the state.

The allegation of witchhunt by the Osun APC is therefore a figment of the opposition’s imagination. No local government staff is being witchhunted as they are all protected by service rules and regulations which they all swore to abide with.

The governor and all agencies of government are committed to protection of the rights of all workers within the ambit of the law and public service regulations.

We must however appeal to all public servants to abide by service rules. Obedience to rules and regulations of the public service is compulsory for discipline and orderliness in service delivery to the members of the public.
