A former House of Representatives aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Tele Oyegoke, has reaffirmed his commitment to the party, assuring its leadership that he remains a loyal member despite not securing the party’s ticket.

Oyegoke gave the assurance while addressing his supporters in Odo-Otin Local Government Area of Osun State, following protests by some party faithful over the APC’s decision to deny him the House of Representatives ticket.

The former aspirant said he had accepted the decision of the party leadership and respected the choice of the candidate endorsed by the party elders.

He urged his supporters to remain calm, desist from protests or any form of violence, and continue to work for the success of all APC candidates in future elections.

According to him, party unity and discipline are more important than personal ambition, stressing that every member must place the collective interest of the APC above individual aspirations.

Oyegoke also called on the people of Osun State to vote for the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, in the forthcoming governorship election.

He further appealed to Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election, expressing confidence that the APC would continue to deliver democratic dividends at both the state and national levels.
