Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has opened up about how her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, influenced her decision to stop smoking cigarettes after she became pregnant.

The award-winning actress shared the personal story during an interview with media personality Morayo Afolabi, revealing that motherhood and her husband’s support played a significant role in changing her lifestyle.

Speaking candidly during the interview, Toyin Abraham disclosed that she previously smoked cigarettes but has since given up the habit.

According to the actress, she now only uses vape products occasionally and no longer smokes cigarettes.

She explained that the turning point came after she became pregnant, when her husband reminded her that smoking was no longer appropriate because of the health of their unborn child.

She recalled that during an outing she smoked a cigarette, and although her husband noticed, he chose not to confront her angrily.

Instead, she said, Kolawole Ajeyemi calmly explained that while her personal choices remained hers to make, he would never accept such habits being adopted by their child.

According to Toyin, her husband warned that if he ever found their child smoking or consuming alcohol, it would seriously affect their marriage.
