Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has declared that the All Progressive Congress (APC) will secede from Lagos State once the party’s organizational forces disband.
Primate Ayodele declared that the APC will go beyond recognition and that a new movement would emerge from the party in a statement signed by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin.
He pointed out that it will be a major issue for President Tinubu since he will lose control of the party, which will impact his hopes of winning a second term in 2027.
“APC will break, and Lagos will be the starting point.” Because the pressure will be too much, those keeping the party together will decide to leave, leaving it completely disorganized.
“The APC is going to launch another revolution, and it will begin in Lagos State. President Tinubu would lose control of the party in Lagos and the country as a whole. This will be a serious issue for the president, and if nothing is done, it will hurt his chances in 2027.
Primate Ayodele added that there will be a lot of drama leading up to 2027 politics, particularly in Lagos State. He clarified that if the party selects the incorrect candidate for governor, it will split the party’s leadership, including the GAC.
“There will be a lot of dramas leading up to 2027, particularly in Lagos politics.” If caution is not exercised, the party will select the wrong candidate for governor, which will cause significant division among the party’s leadership, including the GAC.
“The APC is under threat; if its leaders don’t confront it, there will be a major rift in the party across the country, beginning in Lagos.”
