With assets now at N31.8 trillion and RSA membership exceeding 11.3 million, the pension industry remains an important source of long-term domestic capital for the Nigerian economy.
The latest figures also indicate that a significant portion of pension assets remains invested in Federal Government securities, while pension fund administrators continue to allocate funds to equities, infrastructure, private equity and other investment instruments as they seek to diversify their portfolios.
