The party had named a five-term member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Oluwole Oke, as the Director General of the Osun 2026 Governorship Campaign Committee. Others appointed as Director Generals at the senatorial level include Prince Adebayo Adeleke for Osun Central, Prince Dotun Babayemi for Osun West, and Hon. Thomas Ogungbangbe for Osun East.
Reacting to the development, Oluga described the appointments as “well-deserved” and reflective of the party’s commitment to competence, experience, and grassroots mobilization.
“I congratulate all the appointees, particularly the Director General, Hon. Oluwole Oke, on this important responsibility. This is not just an honour, but a call to service at a critical time in our party’s journey,” she said.
Oluga emphasized that the success of the APC in the forthcoming election would depend largely on the effectiveness, unity, and strategic coordination of the campaign team.
“The task ahead is enormous, but with unity of purpose, dedication, and a people-centered approach, I am confident that the committee will deliver victory for our great party,” she added.
She further urged members of the committee at all levels to work collaboratively, intensify grassroots engagement, and ensure inclusive participation across party structures.
“The strength of any political campaign lies in its ability to connect with the people at the grassroots. I charge all members of the committee to take the campaign to every ward and polling unit, listen to the people, and articulate the vision of our party clearly,” Oluga stated.
She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the party’s efforts, expressing optimism that the APC would emerge victorious at the polls.
“We must remain focused, disciplined, and united. Victory is achievable if we all play our parts effectively,” she concluded.
