According to Comrade Timi Frank, a former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, and his APC thugs are desperate to seize Osun State because it is President Bola Tinubu’s hometown.

As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the APC fought for control of the local government secretariats, violence broke out in Osun State on Monday.
Frank stated in a statement released in Abuja on Tuesday that Oyetola’s current objective is to render the state unmanageable for Governor Ademola Adeleke in order to use the state’s problems as an excuse to declare a state of emergency.

He bemoaned the fact that Ajibola Basiru, the APC’s national secretary and a native of Osun State, had called on live television Monday night to impose a state of emergency in the state in order to prevent more violence after the crisis that Oyetola and his APC goons had engineered.

Frank, however, urged President Tinubu to summon Oyetola and the APC goons.

He claims that after conflicts between APC and PDP supporters over control of local government areas in Osun State that have claimed many lives, the appeal is now required to restore calm in the state.

“Our available intelligence has shown that Oyetola’s current plan and strategy is to render the state unmanageable for Governor Ademola Adeleke, so they can use the state’s crisis as a cover to declare a state of emergency in Osun State,” he stated.

Since they are aware that Governor Adeleke will still win if today’s elections are permitted, their main goal is to proclaim a state of emergency.

Therefore, they intend to use crisis and violence to end his second term in order to make room for the proclamation of a state of emergency.

Despite the fact that Osun is his home state and place of origin, the PDP currently controls the state, and Governor Adeleke was elected by the people, the president is hereby called upon to speak out.

As the Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, we are using this platform to inform him that he and Oyetola would be held accountable if the current crisis continues to worsen beyond what has already occurred.

“Oyetola is currently exploiting federal power to sow chaos and wickedness in Osun State, and this insanity needs to end immediately.
