Speaking during a meeting with governors, the President stressed that governments should prioritise initiatives that deliver greater social and economic benefits to the people. He advised state leaders to channel resources into critical sectors capable of improving the welfare and living standards of Nigerians.

“Stop building unnecessary flyovers. You can do more for citizens,” Tinubu said, urging governors to ensure that public funds are directed towards projects that have a more meaningful impact on the lives of the people.
