Why APC Has Been Winning Elections In Nigeria – Ganduje
Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has credited the party’s recent electoral success to the particular focus placed on domesticating campaigns.
Speaking Tuesday at the APC Caucus Meeting at the State House in Abuja, Ganduje commended the role played by party leaders and all other stakeholders in guaranteeing the APC’s victory over the previous 15 months.
The former governor of Kano State remembered that the APC had won the governorships in Imo, Kogi, Edo, and Ondo States during the period in question.
However, the Bayelsa gubernatorial election was lost by the APC.
“The string of electoral victories we have experienced over the past fifteen (15) months can be attributed in part to the attention we give to our demographics in the domestication of our campaigns,” Ganduje stated.
As you may remember, Ganduje recently said that the party’s goal is to gain governmental control over all of the southwest states.
Shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) proclaimed the APC the victor of the 2024 Ondo State gubernatorial election, Ganduje made the announcement.
According to the APC National Chairman, the party will use every effort to guarantee that the ruling party controls every state in the southwestern region.
“This geopolitical zone, the southwest geopolitical zone, is our next target, and you know we are good in hitting our targets, that is Osun State and Oyo State,” Ganduje told reporters in Akure. In order to achieve political unity in the southwest geopolitical zone, we pledge to do everything within our power to include them.
