The students were selected from 90 schools located in 18 of the state’s 33 LGAs.
We must thank OYSHIA for deciding it was appropriate to expand this program to Oyo State public schools, he stated. They currently control 90 schools, and in the shortest amount of time, we will reach about 10,000 students.
“I am aware that this present exercise has captured 18 local government areas out of our five primary zones. This is a commendable exercise that you should also expand to other zones.
“UNICEF, we have to thank you for supporting our public primary and secondary schools, as was mentioned several decades ago. I wish to encourage you to keep up your support-giving efforts.
The reason for this is because we want young kids to develop and show off their skills in a setting that is healthy.
As you are aware, the environment faces significant challenges. Even their living conditions are not the greatest that the world has to offer. Some of them are traveling from suffocated homes without bathrooms.
“However, this intervention implies that various diseases can be avoided, which is why I am applauding your efforts to ensure our kids are healthy in a conducive learning environment.”
