Akpabio Didn’t Start The Seat Issue, It Was Chief Whip – Olujimi

Biodun Olujimi, a former senator from Ekiti South, has revealed that the Senate seat problem that has resulted in sexual harassment claims was not initiated by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Natasha Uduaghan-Akpoti, a senator from Kogi Central, accused Senator Akpabio of sexually harassing her, according to  News.

The charge came after a Senate seat dispute in which Akpabio declared Natasha out of order for failing to take her designated seat.

In an interview with Arise News on Saturday, former Senator Olujimi explained that Akpabio was alerted by Senate Chief Whip Senator Tahir Munguno to the fact that the Kogi Central Senator was not using her designated seat.

He emphasized the importance of senators adhering to Senate regulations, pointing out that the Red Chamber is for senior citizens with life experience rather than youth.

It’s all about management, she said. The Senate is for old people, you know. Young people shouldn’t do it. It is intended for those who have experienced everything in life and are prepared to put in the necessary effort. and contribute positively to the nation. Therefore, you behave yourself and handle people when you are there. Managing Order 10 is not tough. Before she could issue Order 10, however, the Chief Whip got up and told the Senate President that Senator Natasha was not in her designated place and could not speak from there.
