CAIRO — Egypt head coach Hossam Hassan reportedly collapsed after a dramatic confrontation between his two wives escalated into a physical altercation at a luxury hotel on Egypt’s North Coast.

The incident reportedly occurred at a hotel café in Porto Marina, where Hassan was spending his holiday. According to reports, an argument between his first wife, Howaida Al-Gharbawi, and his second wife, Dina “Dan Adam” Mustafa, allegedly turned into a hair-pulling fight in front of shocked holidaymakers. Relatives reportedly intervened before hotel security was called, with both women said to have sustained cuts and bruises during the confrontation.

Hassan reportedly fainted while attempting to stop the altercation, with the incident causing concern among those present. However, his lawyer subsequently dismissed reports that the Egypt manager suffered a serious medical crisis, saying Hassan remained in good health.

Hassan Reportedly Divorces First Wife

Following the incident, reports claimed that Hassan had officially divorced his first wife, Howaida, after signing divorce documents at a legal registrar’s office in Cairo.

The reported divorce comes after a history of marital separation and reconciliation between Hassan and Howaida. The couple had previously separated for about 10 days in 2022 before reportedly resolving their differences and resuming their marriage.
