ABUJA, NIGERIA — President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday held separate meetings and engagements with Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Gboyega Oyetola, Minister of Solid Minerals Development Dele Alake, and House of Representatives member Alhassan Ado Doguwa at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The high-level engagements took place at different times, with Akpabio arriving at the Villa at about 6:12pm, followed by Oyetola. Doguwa was later sighted entering the corridor leading to the President’s office at approximately 7:15pm, while Alake was also seen at the Villa around the same period.

The exact agenda of the meetings was not immediately disclosed as of the time of filing this report.

Oyetola’s visit is particularly notable coming just days after Governor Ademola Adeleke was declared winner of the August 15 Osun State governorship election. The development comes amid heightened political interest in the outcome of the election and its implications for the political landscape in the state and beyond.
