Akpabio Told Natasha To Meet Him At Hotel – Ireti Kingibe

Ireti Kingibe, the senator for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), responded to her colleague Natasha Akpoti’s accusation of sexual harassment against Senate President Godwill Akpabio.
According to news reports, the Kogi Central legislator accused Akpabio of pursuing a romantic relationship with her in an interview on Arise TV on Friday, February 28, 2025.

According to Senator Natasha, Apkabio was harassed in the Senate for a long time after her sexual advances were turned down.

Natasha claimed that every time her motions were brought up, the Senate President would always prevent them from being heard on the floor, and that some of her coworkers suggested that she meet with Akpabio in private in his office.

But when she went to see Akpabio in his office, the former governor of Akwa Ibom State assured her that taking care of him would benefit her much.

Kingibe stated in a Friday interview on Arise TV that she is not close enough to Akpabio to talk about sexual harassment.

She recalled a conversation with Natasha, who said that she was invited to a hotel by Akpabio, but she instructed the Kogi legislator to only see senators at their offices and residences.
