According to the CDCFIB, the recruitment attracted a large number of applications from across the country, requiring a comprehensive selection process to ensure fairness, transparency and adherence to established recruitment principles.
The board explained that it deliberately avoided rushing the exercise because of the need to ensure that the final selection complies with the principles of justice, merit, federal character and due process, as well as the operational requirements of the four security services.
