Chief Adaba, who served as Deputy Governor under the late Governor Abubakar Audu, was celebrated for his unwavering commitment to Kogi State’s development and his exemplary leadership. Commissioner Fanwo emphasized Adaba’s “exceptional service, selfless dedication, and pivotal role in governance,” noting that his death marks a profound loss for the Ebira community, political associates, and the nation.

“His contributions to governance, his statesmanship, and his role in shaping the early foundation of Kogi State will never be forgotten,” Fanwo stated. “Chief Adaba fueled his dream of a great Kogi State with unblemished patriotism, even after leaving office. His wisdom remained a resource for successive administrations.”

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo extended condolences to the Adaba family, praising the late leader’s “passion for the people” and vowing that his legacy would endure. “We pray the Almighty grants his soul eternal rest and strengthens his loved ones during this difficult time,” the Governor said.
