53 suspected drug traffickers were taken into custody by Lagos State Task Force personnel during an operation in the Gowon Estate in the state’s Iyana-Ipaja axis. It was discovered that the majority of drug dealers belong to various cults.
The infamous 31 Road intersection, Bless Jah Street, Adenle Crescent, Owo Omo Osho Street, and a portion of Okunola Road in the Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in the Alimosho Local Government Area (LGA) were among the areas searched.
53 alleged drug traffickers and users were apprehended as a result of the sting operation, which had transformed the entire region into a safe haven for illegal drug activity.
The suspects were found in possession of a large number of other illegal narcotics, including codeine syrups, hemp, tramadol pills, Colorado, and items suspected of being Canadian loud. Among other items found were knives, packs of Indian hemp crushers, and weighing scales.
