Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has approved the recruitment of 500 additional personnel for the Ogun State Security Network Agency, popularly known as the Amotekun Corps. This decision aims to reinforce security measures and enhance the protection of lives and property across the state.
The State Commander of Amotekun, Brigadier General Alade Adedigba (retd.), made the announcement on Saturday, emphasizing the government’s unwavering commitment to security. He noted that this recruitment drive follows the recent passing-out parade of 690 newly trained operatives, further showcasing the administration’s dedication to fortifying security operations.

Application Process and Screening Dates
Adedigba provided details on the application process, stating that interested candidates can apply online free of charge via the official website: ogunstateamotekun.com.ng.
- The application window will be open from Monday, March 10, 2025, to Friday, April 4, 2025.
- A comprehensive screening exercise will follow, scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, 2025, to Thursday, May 1, 2025.
He urged all prospective applicants to adequately prepare and adhere to the application guidelines to ensure a smooth and transparent recruitment process.
