WhatsApp Group Dispute Turns Deadly in Pakistan

In a shocking incident in Pakistan, a man has allegedly shot and killed the administrator of a community WhatsApp group after being removed from the chat. According to police reports and local authorities, the accused, identified as Ashfaq, has been charged with murder.

The victim, Mushtaq Ahmed, reportedly removed Ashfaq from the WhatsApp group following an argument. According to Mushtaq’s brother, the two had planned to meet in person to reconcile their differences. However, the meeting took a tragic turn when Ashfaq arrived armed with a gun and allegedly opened fire, fatally shooting Mushtaq.

Police officials confirmed that Ashfaq was enraged after being removed from the WhatsApp group, which allegedly led him to commit the crime. The incident took place in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a region with a history of sectarian violence. Authorities have launched a full investigation into the matter.

Tragic Death During Prayers in Nigeria

In a separate incident, a 52-year-old man named Salihu Byezhe tragically passed away after collapsing during early morning prayers in Gudaba village, located in the Kuje Area Council of Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Reports indicate that the incident occurred on Thursday while Byezhe was attending prayers at the community mosque. A local resident, Musa Dantani, stated that Byezhe had participated in Sahur, the pre-dawn meal observed during Ramadan, before performing ablutions and heading to the mosque.

During the prayer session, Byezhe suddenly collapsed. Fellow worshippers immediately rushed to assist him and transported him to a hospital in Kuje. Sadly, he was pronounced dead upon arrival, with medical personnel attributing the cause of death to high blood pressure.

Eyewitnesses reported that Byezhe was still breathing while being transported to the hospital, but he passed away before medical intervention could be administered. One of his sons, who was present at the mosque during the incident, accompanied him to the hospital, where doctors confirmed his passing.

Both incidents highlight the unpredictability of life, with one case rooted in violence and the other in an unforeseen medical emergency. Authorities in both countries continue to investigate and provide necessary support to the families affected.
